Recently Groups added a number of their comments as standard Right hand formatting. Now the entire newsletter is squeezed into the shortened width. My 5 -7 page weekly is now 9+ pages and the formatting is awful with line breaks in the wrong places. I want to wrap around the forced right hand material that Groups now includes but not make allowance for when I place my copy in. I’m like the blind weather broadcasters, and can’t see the screen.

I write a newsletter in Word, and copy it into an email to post to my yahoogroups. A contributor writes a paragraph in yahoo email, and sends it to me. I post it into Word, format it, and the paste all into the msg to post to yahoo groups. Everything looks nice except her para, which looks horrible. (no wrapping, for example, or weird font that can’t be changed).
Same thing happens when she emails me, and I paste it directly into a new email.
Anyone else having this problem?

Is there a limit on the number of members the newsletter can be sent to? Since I am already doing the newletter in a different format, must they join the group or can I simply input the email addresses I already have? (I have about 250 members now)

I send out a monthly newsletter to my group and want to send it as a Special Notice. It’s in .pdf format so I email it to the groups address and then approve it, and then it’s sent to the members. But when I approve messages, there’s no option to make them a Special Notice. The only way to send something Special Notice is to post the email from the Group page, but then I can’t include an attachment.
Are there any work arounds?
Thanks,
Mike

I publish an html newsletter through yahoogroups. But the yahoo hub seems to mess up my newsletter formatting… in particular with my text margins in multiple columns. I do not have this problem when sending the newletter directly through ms outlook and so I can only conclude that the yahoo hub is at fault. What can I do?
Yes, I have tried New! Compose your message with Rich-Text Editor (Beta).” at the group. In the Beta Editor display the newsletter looks fine. But once again when I “send” the newsletter to the group from that editor the margins become mucked up.
I have tried posting from Outlook. I have tried cutting and pasting the newsletter into the Beta rtf editor. Neither works.
I am using a PC and the newsletter is composed in MS Word… the format of the newsletter came from a template I downloaded from microsoft through MS Word.
