- Ephesians 6:18

Paul has just finished giving the church at Ephesus their spiritual battle armor. As his conclusion, he encourages them and us to pray with the same boldness and creativity that children employ. Use every kind of prayer. Static formats and formality are not required. This is your Father you’re approaching. Use every kind of effort. Be assertive! Implore Him on behalf of all believers. Not just for your family or your church. Our nation’s leaders need your prayers. Not to mention that military person serving so valiantly in Afghanistan, Iraq or some other far-off place.

Remain on the alert…and develop your knack for creative prayer. Intercede today for our nation and our Armed Forces, that these battles, physical and spiritual, would be fought in God’s strength and according to His will.

Recommended Reading: Ephesians 6:10-17
