Where can i get a newspaper template format from?

I need to get a newspaper template, for my school project and there will have to be a space to write my articles. It has to be four pages, and there has to be a space for everything just like a newspaper template.

any creative minds out there? please help?

I am a journalism student and I am from India. We have to complete some project work in our curriculum. We asked to prepare our own newsletter where we have to make four pages newsletter which will contain 2 ordinary news report (like on some events, seminars, exhibition, workshops, etc.); 2 investigative news reports (like on case in police station, any court proceeding, general problems in your area which may include electricity shortage, troublesome neighbors, etc); then lastly we have to conduct one interview of person from any field (like professor, lawyer, cop, beggar, just anything). Each report has to be more than 500 words. So just give me some suggestions, ideas or tell me some websites which give brief information on reporting, editing, interviewing etc. if you have any ideas about layout designing then you are most welcome. Just any kind of information that could be helpful for my project is important. So please tell as much as you can tell. Even you can share your experiences. I would like to thank all of you in advance. Thanks a lot.

How do I make a newsletter?

I signed up to be the editor of my school newsletter. It’s a small school and the newsletter for our class (psychiattric aide) but will be distributed to the whole school (maybe 200 people). Anyways, where can i find a newsletter format that’s free and looks cool . I already tried the microsoft website, and the one I wanted (Newsletter Wizard), wouldn’t download correctly, only the footer showed up? Can you tell me how to do it correctly? Or just give me some newletter format links or something? Thanks
I don’t have MS Publisher…. I’m a student and I can’t afford that software just to make a montlhy newsletter…

Starting a newspaper – being an editor?

I live in a tiny town. We have one newspaper, but it’s all about the hog reports. If you want something in it, you have to call, then call again and confirm at least one more time to ensure it gets in there. And then, you only have about a 50/50 chance it will be. If it is, most times it’s wrong. It’s very poorly run, very poorly designed, just a big mess. It does have the weekly grocery ad which just needs to be collated into it (it comes to them already printed). That’s about the only thing most people buy the paper for. It’s called “the weekly wipe” by most here. LOL It’s THAT pitiful!

I have a graphic arts background, love to photograph, love to write up stories/events, love to interview, have layout/design experience, and have been a newsletter editor for MANY years. I’ve created, laid out, and printed catalogs, books, and newsletters many times as well. My Mom worked for a newspaper for about 10 years. Together, we could make quite the team in putting together a GREAT publication for our little town.

Does anyone know what the legalities of starting a newspaper are? License? Things to know before we get started? As an editor, what should I be aware of outside the actual creation of the newspaper? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Newspaper Layout ?

I have been assigned the job of designing the college newsletter, which is due for this month end. As I have never done layout jobs before I just wanna know if there are any specifications, rules or something like that to be followed while designing newspapers, newsletters, magazines, etc.

Please tell me if there are any norms for it. Also suggest me some websites where I can have a look at some good newspaper layouts. And also websites which describe the conventions required

Where can I get my newsletter professionally published?

There’s a new newsletter a small team, including myself have been working on. It’s four pages, and we’ve been simply printing it on plain, printer paper and stapling the two pages together. But eventually, I’m hoping we can send our newsletter to a professional company in order to get it professionally published in a format where we don’t need staples, but the whole newsletter is simply printed on a long sheet of paper and folded in half. Does anyone know what I’m talking about?

Does anyone know how or where I could get this done?
