How do I send a message in HTML format with Yahoo mail beta?
January 9th 2011
Under options, mail options, general, there is only the plain text font selection. No option for italics, underline, color, etc. When I receive Yahoo mail in Outlook it is always Plain Text.
I read and send email with Outlook. I would like to advise friends who send me email from Yahoo mail how to send it in HTML format.

I understand now.
On any All New Yahoo! Mail Beta page, click the Compose button. The Compose tab appears. Near the Subject box you will see the “Rich text” link. Click on it and you will switch to the HTML format. Now you will see the options italic, bol, underline, color, emoticons, font, size etc.
In the new version of Yahoo! Mail some terms changed. So in this example HTML format changed into Rich text.
=======================
You should’t use Outlook for checking your mails from Yahoo! Mail Beta. You should try check your mail from a web browser. The New version of Yahoo! Mail is in developement so it’s not totally compatible with all the programs. If you want to be always sign to Yahoo! and you want to just open your browser to check your mail, go to and check the box Keep me sign in for 2 weeks unless I sign out. After this set this page as homepage. Next time when you will open your browser you will be able to check your mail without sign in.

You should check your Yahoo! Mail Options. And find a category called Composing E-mails. Set HTML format from there. Or something like that.
Good luck!
