Put database data in an email?

I need to send out about 20 reminders. I’ve got an email template but need to add in personal details (name, ID number, etc.) for each person. I have a database containing all the information. Is there a way I can quickly put the data into the template and send them off without having to do it manually for each person?
P.S. I’m using MS Outlook, but if there are free tools that allow me to do this I don’t mind.
