How do I set up an excel floorplan with same size cells to lay out room furniture? Do templates exist 4 this?

The alpha/numerical row and column info needs to reduce in size to be able to be read within the smaller cells. Also, an optional ruler ratio sizing would be great if available.
I would like to simply this process and use an existing template but can adjust to do it on my own. Thanks for reading this and sending in your answers… I appreciate it … Geoff – Email: yourway@aol.com

Don’t use Excel. Use Microsoft Visio.
If you don’t have MS Visio, there are free/cheap equivalents. These are diagramming/schematic softwares and they’re very easy to use.
Go to and search for the appropriate software. The savings in time using a proper sketching software are worth the $30.
