Hi Mr. Fox,
How are you doing? I was just thinking it’s been a while since we last spoke and I wanted to send you an email to say hello and happy holidays (or merry christmas…happy hanukkah, etc)! I have been doing XYZ (activity) and it has been really ___(adjective). It’s funny how (amusing thing about the activity you mentioned). It was my first time XYZ, i think i’ll go again. Anyways, I hope everything is great with you.
