How do I erase my email signature?

I have a yahoo account, and when I send emails, my name appears in the person’s inbox as *Nat*. This was appropriate when I was 16 but I’d like to change it to something more mature….It’s not exactly the signature but more the way my name appears in the recipients inbox, so please restrict answers to that
I’ve searched allll the way thru my account and editing it etc and cannot find it

CHANGE “FROM” NAME IN YAHOO MAIL
1. Click on the “Options”, Mail Options link in the upper right of your yahoo mail page.
2. At the top of the General page that opens, go to the box across from “From”, delete what you have in there, and enter a nickname, email address or whatever you would like displayed in outgoing mail.
4. Most important, go to the top left and click the Save Changes icon.
