By html I mean http
Yes I have a web based account, its an account through the school I go to, and I was wondering if there is a program like Outlook for example that I can use to check my email on that account instead of opening up a browser and logging in.

Thunderbird is from Mozilla also and is very stable and secure i like it..

i think you are saying you have a webmail account, like gmail, yahoo, or hotmail. are you asking how to check your email? or do you not like the browser interface?
some webmail accounts, like hotmail, allow you to access your account via an email program (like outlook) so you can save emails, et cetera, and have access to your received and sent email “offline”, that is, when you are not connected to the internet.
is this what you are trying to do? if so, and if a) your email provider supports this, and b) you have set up your wemail account to do so, and c) been given the appropriate information to log in (usually in the form of a POP and SMTP server name), you can set up any email application, including outlook, to access your mail.
please provide a little more information.
edit:
if it’s a webmail account through school, ask the school if they support pop access to mail. if they do, get the pop and smtp server names, and you can use any pop email program (like outlook) to check your mail.
but that’s a decision the school would make, it’s not something we can answer. it really depends on how they configured it.
