Why aren’t images loading properly on my computer?
March 11th 2010
Just a few days ago I had to reinstall Windows XP because of a crucial virus and I understand that many programs were removed and I have not had the opportunity to put them all back on yet. What do I need to download in order for images to fully load properly.
Problems: When I go to websites some pics load and some pictures don’t and this is every web site that I go to, not just 1 or 2.
1) When I go to eBay some pictures show and some don’t.
2) When I go to craigslist none of the pictures show when I click on an ad listing that has images.
3) When I open my emails newsletters that suppose to have html designs, I can not see the images in the email only the text.
I am slowly adding programs back on to my computer, what am I missing that needs to be put on so that these images can FULLY load on web sites that I visit and emails that I open.

Have you updated your browser since the re-install? When you reformat, everything is set back to the date the cd was created, or the date that the recovery partition was created, so you have to update EVERYTHING, Windows, browser, all programs.
The problems you list are due to settings on your browser. Go to Tools, Browser Options, and make your changes to show images
