Posting a word document for a mass email?

My boss had me make a word document and he wants to start sending out mass emails with these periodic newsletters. I tried constant contact but they want me to use their template and my boss specifically wants this word document. What program can I use to submit my contacts and then send out the document that I created? We have about 500 contacts right now but the list continues to grow… also, my boss is pretty penny pinching when it comes to stuff like this so anything cost effective.

Does you boss think anyone is going to read it? I don’t think so. Many people will not open an attachment.
Generally, most companies that do low-cost list management are going to steer you away from sending Word attachments. They want you to do the right thing: convert it to HTML.
If he insists on wasting his money, then you can get list management with many web hosting programs.
For example, Hostgator’s business account for about $20/month lets you create a list and email to the list.
Then you will have full control and you can make all the mistakes you want.
