I am trying to create an HTML Email to be sent out using my Mail program for Mac OS X. I have the HTML type ready, what’s next?

No idea Mac wise.
But you should have an option to view the source code of the new email.
Just copy code over whats there.
The images need to be on the web.

Check out MaxBulk eMailer from MaxProg:
It’s quite a serious bit of software – you’d need intermediate HTML skills, but as well as doing the HTML email (and providing enclosed graphics, TEXT versions and so on) it handles all the fine detail like handling mail lists, unsubscribe messages, mail merge items and load balancing. Highly recommended for Mac users.
