Most people these days accept html email, you just need to recognize that html-only email can be a problem for people that use text email packages on mobile devices.

If this is an opt-in list, you should offer the user the ability to choose for him/herself.
If you go with html, make sure you use text links and not just links from the graphics in case they get blocked.

I believe it will be the HTML e-mail as it has more information, however may posses some problem if some of the ppl cant support this type of mail.

HTML is clearly superior because of its formatting capabilities to make things easier to read. However, if you use a mass mailer program you can often send both at the same time. Most email clients automatically recognize whether the email is HTML or text, and display it accordingly.
I like using a shareware program called Gammadyne Mailer (which probably sells for around $120), because it automatically puts the text version first, just in case the email client doesn’t discern HTML from text, but still only displays text for those clients that do discern.
